Georgetown County announced the hiring of Tiffany Harrison. Harrison will start as the new director of Georgetown County's Economic Development Department on Jan. 3. Harrison is a Columbia native who served as deputy director of Richland County Economic Development for the last five years. 

The American Red Cross announced the hiring of Michael Hesbach as the new executive director for the ARC Eastern Chapter. Hesbach started in the new role last week. Learn more.

Carolina Trust Federal Credit Union announced the promotions of Colleen Caranfa and Andrea Chatland. Caranfa is the new branch manager of the Surfside Beach location. Caranfa previously worked at M&T Bank in Connecticut as AVP and branch manager and brings 18 years of experience in the banking industry. Chatland is now member service center manager. Chatland joined the credit union as a teller in the Surfside branch in 2011 and has held the role of member service center phone agent since the center's creation in 2017.

B. Timothy Carlisle, president & CEO of Carolina Trust Federal Credit Union, joined the Myrtle Beach Bowl Executive Committee.
