There was a friendly showdown between two chamber teams and several other community groups at last week's Community Cup Challenge during Beach 'n Chili Fest.
Our Chamber Chili Chicks who finished third behind the Myrtle Beach Fire Department and BeachCHURCH. The third place finish earned $500 for Substitutes for Santa, an annual event held by Grand Strand Young Professionals in partnership with SOS Care that provides a magical Christmas experience for more than 100 local children.
It was the first year of competition for our Chamber Chili Chaps.
