Keep Myrtle Beach Beautiful is gearing up to celebrate Earth Day all April long.
A new committee of Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce (MBACC), Keep Myrtle Beach Beautiful (KMBB) was formed and earned official affiliation with Keep South Carolina Beautiful and Keep America Beautiful in Sept. 2021.
Join us in our efforts to promote, protect and improve The Beach.
We’ll be sharing ways you can get involved through your business, in your neighborhood or at home to celebrate Earth Week April 18-22. Join along on our newly launched Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
The week culminates on Earth Day, April 22, when KMBB will host two community cleanup events at Withers Swash and Broadway Street. Register so you can join in. All volunteers will need to submit a volunteer information and release form on KeepMyrtleBeachBeautiful.com.
To encourage litter removal efforts throughout the city, KMBB will provide complimentary trash bags for anyone wishing to do their own cleanups. Bags will be available at the chamber’s visitor center at 1200 N. Oak St. between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. beginning April 18.
Continue the celebrations and learn more about how your business can be more sustainable during a Chamber Academy session April 26 at 8:30 a.m. in the chamber’s boardroom with Horry County Solid Waste Authority.
Invest in our community, invest in our planet and help us keep Myrtle Beach beautiful.
