The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce (MBACC) launched Men & Mugs Mondays with an inaugural event Feb. 7.
Following the success of the chamber’s Women & Wine Wednesdays, the new Men & Mugs Mondays offers a relaxed environment where participants can connect and share ideas with fellow professional men. Each event will feature a guest speaker who will discuss their professional experiences and information about their business.
The first event was hosted by Tidal Creek Brewhouse in Myrtle Beach and featured guest speaker Eric Hunt, owner of Myrtle Beach Wedding Officiant.
Hunt shared his path to working in the wedding industry and gave his top tip for business success.
“Answer the phone and do what you say you will do,” Hunt said.
Do those two things and he said your business can be as busy as you want it to be.
Future dates and speakers will be released soon.
If you are interested in hosting the event or being the featured speaker, contact Kema Parsley, business development events manager at Kema.Parsley@VisitMyrtleBeach.com or 843-916-7276.
